Britain is no country for Churchill's English



My posting was based on my memory of reading in school assembly at the age of 18 in 1965. Winston Churchill had died the day before and the Headmaster changed my planned reading at the last momemt to Churchill's memories of his school days.

Ann Widdecombe was a guest on The Graham Norton Show last night. In response to his question about how she felt that she would be known for her dancing rather than her political career she responded (paraphrased) that he should not discount the idea that she can have many other memorable moments still to experience.
